crazy much

a day of yore ago,
half a million smiles younger
you walked in -
off a fifth-floor street
and into my life.
i love you so crazy much.

on the corner of 29th and 8th, i stand -
armed with
lipless kisses,
a touchless caress -
tearless strife;
months and months
of not knowing,
never realising
what, when, how -
yet, never ever
meeting love's silent partner, despair.
i love you so crazy much.

you taught me
to love
irrevocably -
without sense,
without boundaries.
you leave me incomplete -
willing to give my entire life,
to hear you smile a minute long;
wanting to live 10 lifetimes
just to show you what i feel;
knowing every single day,
as the luckiest woman alive,
pink-tinged tomorrow is
just an arm's length away;
i love you so crazy much.

we laugh, obsess, infuriate,
cry, miss each other silly -
yet, at the end of the day, and during,
you breathe inside me,
see the sights i see,
feel the thoughts i think,
live the life i live
as my verve and secret whole -
you are me, in another soul.
i love you so crazy much.
