Time-Warped Star Gazer
Earth to lizard,
He called.
Dull,
The monotone
Of a speeding space,
And its ship
Breaks way
Into me.
No pall of
Dark dust rings,
Or alien bees
In tones
Of cherry green.
From space
To Saturn,
And back again.
For jelly,
And wistful
Moons,
With walking
Signs,
And barren seas.
Fire engine red,
My space suit,
And me.
Probing through
Time,
And suspended souls;
In search of love,
A nest
Of green gooey goo.
Ocular rays,
And electron waves-
No bird, or beast,
Or eight-headed
Adonis
Ever fell into
The black hole
Of me;
Falling meteor,
And Hawking
With open arms;
Me- precarious-
Stuck in the lurch.
Again.
Darn these
Mortal men.
Ice age
Is here to stay.
Screw the
Distant horizon,
And starry eyes
With mellow dreams.
My new-fangled
Centauri,
And doe eyed
Orion is here
For me
Forever more.
As for you-
Greek gods
And indulgence.
Blue roses
In your back yard,
Steaming chimneys
By your side.
May the
Galaxy
Bless
The ever so
Doomed you.
He called.
